Bad news for nice people
Be yourself.. on my terms
We encourage each other to be who you really are! Be yourself! Relax and let your real self express… I have written such statements repeatedly over the years, imagining that I was giving wise advice.
What would I have said to someone whose real self was selfish, nasty and a power monger. Or what would I have said if that real self was a killer or an enslaver? I think I would have stopped in my tracks and have been forced to reconsider.
What gives us humans the idea that each person is a good person at heart? There has never been any proof of this, either historically or scientifically. We all know people who are ‘bad’ and they can’t seem to help it.
Prisons have many extreme examples of this, people who paid the price that the judges laid upon them and then went out and did the same thing again… and again sometimes. It seems that they cannot help but be what they are naturally, which is exactly what is preached by us know-alls!
We want everyone to be nice because we think that this would make a better world, especially our personal little worlds. But that would not work either. This world depends on the rebels for its ‘progress’. It is ruled by the not-nice people.
The ‘not-nice’ people lead humanity into the easy life, they give them governments and corporations and systems to keep them safe from the ‘bad’ guys. We need them. We need the ‘bad’ guys to give us leadership and protection from the ‘enemy’ (whoever they might be at the time).
Now we have a problem! Be yourself but only on my terms. What I mean is be your nice self so that I feel safe. Maybe all of the nice people are not suited to this not-nice planet and it is not surprising that they become a part of the simple mass mind that is forever led on in its search for a fairy land called a better life.
Creative creeps
Underground Delights – my new creepy blog
I have to tell you about my new blog – Underground Delights. It came about because I love stretching my mind to entertain new concepts about life. I don’t like the conventional and safe philosophies that are the safe refuge for most of society. Fleeting abstractions
Transforming Creativity
I love the things in life that are mysterious, abstract, not quite understandable. (Sounds like my wife’s description of me!)
I love the sea because it is always changing, it’s beauty is transforming before you.
Imagine years ago when it could not be photographed. It’s ever changing surface could only be represented by an artist, at best.
What about the perfect moments that you have had with your partner somewhere, maybe on a holiday or at a cafe… they can’t be captured or even properly recalled.
When I was a portrait artist I loved to capture that look on the face at that exact moment. It would not be back.
If you are parent you have experienced many beautiful times when your child said something so cute you could have melted or they looked so gorgeous, you had to pick them up. These times are fleeting.
What am I getting to? I have a new website where I am asking viewers to contribute an abstract moment, a fleeting strange interpretation of life. In 200 words or less I want a new way of seeing life!
Have a look undergrounddelights.com.
Little steps in the dark
Creative opportunities arrive every day

Oh no… an ad!
This week I wrote a book, well a training manual actually. It was as a result of learning to use wordpress.com. This site is a free website hosting service. It is great with enough freedom to express your individuality online. Creativity is free! take advantage of this situation.
However… it is not a simple matter for anyone who is not technical, patient and good-looking. ( I am not sure about that last requirement). So after a lot of experience from studying the system and putting sites online. I decided to write a manual about it.
That was this weeks creative project. I really believe in this product… after all it is genuinely free. All you need is an email address and an internet connection and you can be online.
Get ready here comes the ad… My manual is like a road map to make your first website very easy to publish. All you have to do is follow the instructions and before you know it, you're online. Then you can have as many sites and as many pages as your secret fantasies yearn for. All for no money and a little effort – not a bad deal!
I look at it this way. If I told you that there is a town over there through the jungle that has free beer. Many people would want to buy my map to get there. That's what I've done with my manual. There is a place on the internet where it is all free. Buy my map and I'll show you how to get some.
It's simple, I did the brain work, you do the creative work. Now put yourself out there for the digital world to visit. If you would like more information, and I can't see who wouldn't, go here!!!
