Nothing is ever right

Still waiting… idiot!

Over the years, a lot of people have come into our gallery, then found a painting they loved, they said that they could afford it but put it off to later because ‘I’m not quite ready yet!’

Then a few months (or sometimes years) later they would come in and say ‘Have you still got that painting I loved’. Like, yeah, I’m going to hang on to my art just in case it is time for you to buy!creative writing

There is no perfect time. Things happen in spite of you and because of you. Sometimes you are lucky… mostly you are not! If it looks good and feels good, then it is probably time to act, no guarantees.

There is no magic in the moment, there are millions of moments and they are all different. If you act or don’t act, it is always your choice and the consequences are the result of that choice. Whether the consequences could have been better or worse if you waited… that is only a guess, you will never know!

So if you want a painting or an ice cream or a Ferrari and there’s nothing in the way, then do it or don’t do it but don’t complain months (or even years) later!

An unspoken truth that frustrates many people. Many want to say "SHUT-UP idiot! I do not care about your regrets! Do it or don't just STOP burdening others with your hypothetical scenarios!" Thanks Colin
